New Addition

Meet Cally. She is a very sweet kitty. I got her from a lady who rescued and didn't want to keep her.

Arizona

Went to Arizona for a refreshing and warming experience. Got to sight-see a bit in a true western
cowboy town, Tombstone and went to the Sonora Desert Museum.

One of our favorite places to visit in Tombstone was Big Nose Kate's Saloon. It really was cool with wood flooring and old original decor behind the bar. The beer mugs were nice and frosty too!





I took a picture of this cactus in the Desert Museum. This variety will turn itself over and sometimes uproot trying to face the south.



These are my friends, Gene and Joan. They come to Arizona for 6 months out of the year to stay out of Minnesota blizzards.

Looks like fingers behind them huh? Well it's called Finger Cactus. This was also taken in the Desert Museum along the trail. You really need to go there to appreciate it.

This is my new blog page. I will attempt at updating regularly so you won't get bored. Thought I would start with the "winter birthday party". We caught Dad deep in thought.
